BMC Helix Service Management 23.3.02 release is now available
BMC has announced the release of ITSM 23.3.02 and we wanted to let you know about some of the cool features in it!
First, there are now Progressive Web App (PWA) screens for Release. This means Release screens can now be modified using the AR System, bringing them in line with the screens for changes, work orders, incidents, assets, broadcasts, problem investigations, and tasks.
In addition, you can now relate tickets and assets in bulk in Shared Ticket Console – Select multiple tickets in Shared Ticket Console and relate them to other tickets or assets by using bulk actions. This saves the effort and time required to manually create relationships for each ticket.
Then there are some items that are still Controlled Availability, but if you aren’t in the CA program, at least know these features are coming in the future –

- Resolve incidents faster by using BMC HelixGPT – Leverage BMC HelixGPT generative AI to get real-time, summarized information for resolving incidents faster. Use the Ask HelixGPT tab on PWA-enabled Incident screens to view summarized incident attributes. Customers who have this have another tab on the Incident ticket:
- View AI-based risk assessment for your change requests
View the overall risk factors associated with a change request in the BMC Helix ITSM calendar. The AI-based risk factor prediction is based on similar change requests implemented in the past and helps you make well-informed decisions about approving, holding, or rejecting a change request. Therefore, it saves your effort and time to evaluate change requests manually.

Configure automation rules to automatically associate People records, locations, and contracts with a newly reconciled asset instead of manually updating them. Configure multiple automations or single automation with multiple rules to update the assets in your environment.
